It can be quite the let down when you are excited to share a message, eager to write and put something out into the world, seated at your desk, inspired into action with every fiber of your being... just for your guides to tell you to take the day off.
And yet, it exemplifies the perfect example of wolf wisdom. And it's exactly what happened to me.
I sat down ready to receive and share the vibe of the wolf archetype with you. To infuse the page with wolf frequencies, so you could feel the magic too. I don't think I've ever been more excited, and more aligned to write before.
Despite how crushed and confused I felt, I knew to trust the wolf intelligence. The wolf is known for her intuitive nature, for being able to read the room, the air, the undertones, and to know how to flow with the current to best care for her pack.
It is that very wisdom she wants to share with us today.
How many times have we wanted to speak up in a meeting, or contentious conversation, only to have nothing to say? The desire was coursing through us, the words nowhere to be found. How many times have we kicked ourselves, for what we perceived as lack in our behaviour? The things we should have said, could have said, but didn't utter.
What if that was your inner wolf, expressing her wisdom? Blanking your conscious mind, because your subconscious knew better. Your subconscious was picking up on the subtler contexts, body language, expressions. The pieces of key intel that had not yet been revealed. What is it that makes us beat on ourselves, instead of honoring our innate wisdom and instincts?
I can think of more times when I was glad I did NOT say something, compared to times when I wish I had. And I know it was my wolf, protecting me, and holding that wiser strategy. Setting me up for long-term success, instead of simply short term wins.
In the Wolf Mystery School, we will be working with Wolf on speaking up with confidence and strength in rooms that often dismiss and shut us down. But it is also important to honor her when it is time to be silent, and observe instead. Observe when it is time to be quiet and watchful, as you and she assess your next moves. To intuit when to pounce on an opportunity, and when to let it come to you.
Sometimes we don't speak up due to fear. As you work more closely with your Wolf, you will begin to tell the difference. You will feel a natural pause within you, when it is your intuition. And you won't beat up on yourself for not speaking up, whether due to fear or intuition, for you know either way there will be other moments your Wolf will guide you to that will be more bountiful.
When you are being led to slow down, take a break, pause action you felt for sure in your bones was time to take - honor that innate wisdom and rest up. An even greater hunt is on its way, and you will want to be at your prime.
The inspired action rushing through your veins is not off, it is simply ramping up towards something even greater. And often, it means that greater clarity is about to arrive to channel your action towards.
