You don't need to find your purpose. Your purpose will find you. Once you understand this, everything becomes easier.
You know how in the dating world, when you like someone, you start to over-analyze every thing they say, and every text they send? If you're struggling to find your purpose, you're likely over-analyzing that too.
In the dating world, we look at each text as a code. We try to decipher what the other person meant, if there are deeper meanings to their words, how should we respond?
When searching for our purpose, we try to decipher every sign, and explore every interest, no matter how minor, wondering if this time, we have finally connected with our path.
In both love and purpose, we are mentally strategizing an experience that should be intuitively guided. We must learn to let go, and trust we are where we need to be.

I know this is easier said than done. Our souls understand letting go, but our intellect does not. I have some tips I hope will help you.
Not too long ago, I was struggling to find my own purpose. I had glimmers of it, like we all do. I had hopes of what I wanted it to be, but no certainty that my dreams and desires were meant for me.
I was receiving conflicting information on where my life would go. And within the conflicting information, was more conflicting information.
I would see myself working for myself, but also continuing in corporate. I would see my business serving other businesses, while other times I felt led to serve consumers. Sometimes I was guided towards a more hard-skilled offer, other times I was guided to offer spiritual services.
I was truly caught in duality. Corporate or entrepreneurship? B2B or B2C? Hard skills, soft skills?
Fortunately, the power of meditation is potent, and through it I came to some realizations that freed me from this mental cage, and allowed me to connect deeply with my purpose. It is these realizations that I hope to impart to you.
1) If you were supposed to know your purpose at this point and time, you would.
Because as humans, we get caught up in our heads, if we were to know something as important as our purpose too soon, we would trip all over ourselves.
We'd question whether it truly was our purpose. Maybe we wouldn't be interested in it because we hadn't had the life experiences that tied us to it yet.
Maybe it would seem too big, and would scare us away from even trying to fulfill it. Maybe it would seem too small, and it would disappoint, or bore us away from it.
Knowing too soon can trip is up, take us off our path, and ultimately make our journey longer than it needs to be. Remember, the universe operates on Divine Timing. Trust that it's right.
2) Focus on what you DO know, and what you CAN do, right now.
You may be wondering, but I'm already over-analyzing my purpose - because I DON'T know it. If I did know it, I could be at peace.
The journey of purpose is not one grand leap to the finish line. It is baby steps taken each day. If you're stuck trying to find direction, stop. Stop trying to find answers you think are missing. Trust you know what you need, and go from there.
If you don't know whether your business should be B2B or B2C, ask yourself who you can serve right now? Who do you know how to connect with, right now? And focus on that.
If that doesn't bring clarity, ask the most important question of all: which option feels more exciting? Which one feels more fun?
And if that doesn't clarify things, ask yourself the second most important question in decision making: which one feels less bad?
These two questions will always steer you to your true north.
These two steps will help you let go, help your mind rest, and let your soul guide you to exactly where you need to be.
